Around 2:30pm this afternoon, RVFD was alerted for Eng.405 to assist Queen Anne County, Sta.4 (Centerville) on a MVC with entrapment at the intersection of Fogwell Road and Ruthsburg Road in their box 4-10.  Eng.405 6 w/AC Gunderson), Chief-4 (Utz) and Amb.492 checked up on the air within two minutes.  Officer 304 arrived on scene and confirmed one vehicle into a tree with two subjects trapped, and established command.  Chief-4 arrived and began to assist on scene crews with patient care and additional needs for extrication.  Rescue-4 and Engine-405 arrived and began the extrication on the injured passenger who seemed to be the higher priority patient.  The driver was extricated almost immediately without incident.  After extrication was completed, Chief-4 and Eng.405 established a landing site near the scene for Trooper-6.  Both patients were flown by Trooper-6 to Shock Trauma.
