This morning members from RVFD and other neighboring companies were given a chance to brush up on some basic firefighting skills.  RVFD was given the opportunity to conduct a controlled burn of a vacant structure on Holsinger Lane.  Crews were refreshed on forcible entry, ventilation, and ladder skills.  Following the training evolutions, crews vacated the structure and began the controlled burn.  Thanks to our neighboring companies who assisted us during this training.  Also thanks to Bruce Secrist for the great pictures!
