This afternoon, Ridgely Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call to assist Talbot County with a working tractor/bailer fire in the area of Matthewstown Road and Colby Road. Our team quickly turned out with Brush 403 and Engine/Tanker 402 to support the firefighting efforts.
Upon arrival, Brush 403 joined Talbot County crews in the overhaul operations, ensuring that the fire was fully extinguished and the area secured. Engine/Tanker 402 was cancelled enroute as the situation came under control.
We are proud of our volunteers for their readiness to assist neighboring communities and their swift, effective response to the incident. As always, the safety of our community and those nearby remains our top priority.
