Firefighter/EMS: Open to individuals 18 or older willing to dedicate numerous hours to training and responding to fire calls.
Cadet Firefighter/EMS: Open to individuals 16 and 17 years old willing to dedicate numerous hours to training and responding to emergency calls. This class of membership requires a parent’s authorization.
Junior Firefighter: Available for individuals in the eighth grade to age 16. You’ll begin the fire service journey and learn certain firefighting skills. This is a non-response member but prepares the individual for becoming a response member when they turn 16 years old.
Associate Member: Open to individuals aged 18 years or older willing to contribute hours to assist with various support activities.
Note: A firefighter/EMS member does not have to commit to both firefighting and emergency medical services. You can choose both or just one discipline to train and respond using your skills.
Benefits
We support our members throughout their membership. The inexperienced member will receive the necessary training to become an efficient and safe emergency responder at no cost to the member. The experienced member will be welcomed to the organization and encouraged to provide superior service to their fellow man and become an integral part of the overall mission of the fire department.
