This afternoon, the Ridgely Volunteer Fire Department was called to action as part of a second alarm response to a working structure fire at 6042 Laurel Grove Road. Engine 401 and Engine/Tanker 402 were dispatched to the scene, where our crews joined efforts to bring the fire under control and protect the surrounding area.

In addition, Canteen 4 is currently enroute to provide mutual aid to Queen Anne’s County for a water rescue at 201 Water Way. Our team stands ready to support both incidents as needed.

At this time, no further information is available, but we will provide updates as they come in. We are proud of our volunteers for their dedication and rapid response to these critical situations, ensuring the safety of our community and neighboring areas.
