The holidays are here, and the Ridgely Volunteer Fire Department is bringing the magic of the season to you with our Annual Santa Run! Santa Claus is trading in his sleigh for a fire truck, and with lights flashing and sirens humming, he’ll be making his way through our neighborhoods to spread holiday cheer.
Mark your calendars because on December 17th and 18th, Santa and his firefighter helpers will be hitting the streets. Kids, parents, and neighbors—get ready to wave and smile as Santa comes right to your doorstep.
The excitement kicks off on December 17th at 5 PM when Santa visits the areas outside of town limits. Here’s where he’ll be stopping:
- Tribbett Circle
- Riverview Way
- Branfields
- Maplewood Estates
- Reed Circle
- Hog Lot Rd
- Cherry Lane
- Fox Chase Circle
- Saddleback & Squire Lane
- Clarks Lane
- Mason Branch
- End of Tour
But Santa’s journey doesn’t stop there. On December 18th at 5 PM, he’ll roll into town to visit even more families along these routes:
- Strawberry Court
- Tuckahoe Gardens
- School Street Apartments
- Oakview Court
- Greenridge
- Sunrise Avenue
- Maple Avenue
- One side of Central Avenue
- North Maple Avenue
- Walnut Street
- Lister Estates
- Ridgeway Drive
- Liberty Street
- North Maryland Avenue
- W. Belle to Other side of Central Avenue
- Maryland Avenue
- Park Avenue
- Caroline Avenue
- Oriole Avenue
As Santa makes his rounds, we encourage everyone to step outside, wave, and share in the joy of the season. Whether you’re young or young at heart, there’s something truly special about seeing Santa and hearing the excitement echoing through our streets.
And for those who don’t want to miss a second of the action, follow us on Facebook for real-time updates. You’ll know exactly when Santa is near your neighborhood!
The Ridgely Volunteer Fire Department is honored to keep this tradition alive, bringing families and neighbors together in the spirit of giving, celebration, and community.
Bundle up, spread the word, and let’s make this year’s Santa Run the most magical one yet. We can’t wait to see all your smiling faces along the route!
Happy Holidays from all of us at the Ridgely Volunteer Fire Department!
